Encouragement to go EV

I bought a Citroen E-C4 and installed a SyncEV using a local electrician (for £ 700). To encourage others to go EV here is my story: my house had had an electric shower in the past so there was a high amps RCB free to connect the charger. The cable had to be laid along an internal wall inside a small white conduit: done with great skill by the electrician. Charger came with cable and a mobile app from which I control charging. I have a routine of charging as soon as I hit less than 50%. I managed to get octopus GO because the other tariff is for exclusive car and charger makes. It is not easy to get onto tariffs with octopus and I managed to do it with a series of phone calls and emails: the agents can switch you almost instantly! Their app doesn’t. The greatest stress came from realising that the “tank” is not full of fuel which allows you to be very irresponsible fuel guzzler : an EV battery needs to be recharged following your own routine and you become a climate friendly driver
