My combined July 2020 to July 2021 electricity and Gas bill for my home ,with a modern fossil gas condensing boiler and a fossil gas cooker was 713.75 pounds.
My July 2021 to July 2022 electricity bill for my home ,with the boiler replaced with a ashp and an electric cooker and induction hob was 606 pounds.
Octopus removed my gas meter for free and stopped billing me for the meter standing charge of approx 80 pounds per annum.
A Total saving of 107 pounds per annum.
Cadent has informed me they will remove the remaining gas pipe,for free ......soon.
