Contracts for difference

From what I have researched the Contracts for Difference scheme (CfD) was established in 2014 to support the UK’s journey to Net Zero. In its simplest form, the CfD is a contractual mechanism designed to incentivise investments in renewable energy projects in the UK at the least cost to the consumer. If the CfD scheme has been around for 10years why has it now become an option in this late stage when we are nearing energisation at Kirk Hill?

These CfD's are administered by a Low carbon contracts company based in Canary Wharf. My opinion is the less involvement by financial institutions the better we are as a co-operative. My vote will be NO to CfD's.
