Derril Water update 13th April 2025

This is a copy of the email I received on 13th April after I contacted the derril Water coop using the email below.

Plus send a email to the address below so you can informed when updates are sent out.

As the Board of DW and fellow investors we wholeheartedly understand the genuine concern of members following recent events concerning Ripple Energy.  I will try to highlight a few key points here and ask for your patience during this transitionary phase:

Our number 1 priority is the continuation of works on site.  I am pleased to say contractors are making good progress and on track to deliver energisation by late spring and commercial operations this summer.

We appreciate members are looking for more communication from the Board and we are keen to do so.  There are a number of pre-requisites to get in place, such as:

Banking facilities for the DW Coop/SPV – to pay for services previously undertaken by Ripple.

·       Communicating with nearly 10k members requires a more ‘business’ grade email and web platform – this is in process.

·       There is no mailing list.  In the meantime, we have used Facebook and other channels sparingly whilst we setup a more satisfactory solution.

·       We appreciate this is frustratingly slow, but that is the nature of the situation we find ourselves in.

·       We will hold a general meeting in due course.

·       A company called 1 Energy has acquired certain assets from the administrators of Ripple.  It is too early to say what, if any service 1Energy will provide to DW Coop/SPV.

As a Board we are meeting regularly and progressing various workstreams to progress Derril Water and its long-term management. For the time being, your ongoing patience and understanding is appreciated.

Warm regards,

DW Chair
