I can’t quite get my head round the claim that buying a share of a wind farm will make your own electricity supply substantially more green?
My understanding is that’s only vaguely possible for people local to the farms. Most of us are simply financially backing a small increase to the % of wind and solar in the mix, for a potential minor profit paid via bill credit.
Would be delighted to find out I’m wrong!
