This might look a bit irrelevant from the title, but I'm looking to replace our fridge-freezer, and I'm wondering if there is a way of varying the power usage at different times of day to benefit from dynamic pricing, and whether there are fridges on the market that do this. I understand that a modern fridge can keep its temperature with some interruption to supply so it shouldn't affect food safety and the like.
Or would the benefit be too small to be worthwhile? I would have thought not if multiple households are doing this. Grateful for any comments.
