Recyclable wind turbine blades

Wind turbine blades (including those already sent to landfill) can now be recycled and used to make new blades.

Most turbine components were already recycled, but the blades were more difficult. They are made out of epoxy resin (glass fibre) which is tricky to recycle. Now the epoxy can be ground down and used to make new blades.

This means pretty much the entire turbine can now be recycled.
