Hi - I'm an 'owner' in Derrill Water and looking to invest in Whitelaw Brae. However, I'm also looking to purchase an EV. My dilemma is that due to poor signal, my smart meter doesn't work in the remote valley I live in. At the moment, OVO energy have an EV scheme that links your EV charger to the supplier, therefore bypassing the need for a smart meter and they offer a preferential rate on that - I can access this. It's not like the overnight cheaper rate charge schemes others offer as they need a smart meter to work that can send the readings - to reiterate, mine won't. Ovo energy aren't a Ripple partner yet, so when Derrill Water comes online I'd need to be with one by then. To end with a couple of questions - a.) When is Derrill Water due to be online? b.) Any news on Ovo Energy coming on as a partner? A previous post stated that they're part of the Octpus Energy buyers group. They're clearly a proactive renewable supplier. Is anyone from the team in contact with/pushing them? Bit of a dealbreaker for me.
