Over the past few months it has become clear to me that there is a significant potential for conflict of interest in how the Co-Op is being managed by Ripple.
Personally, I would like to see the Co-Op (at the very least) start to move to an arms-length relationship with Ripple, and the first thing I would like the Directors to consider is for the Co-Op to purchase the domain name "kirkhillwindfarm.coop" and set up a simple website with a list of the Directors, and their details, and set up e-mail forwarding so we - the Co-Op members - have guaranteed means to be able to contact the Directors without going through Ripple-controlled lines of communication.
I'd also like to see changes to the rules of the Co-Op to have the right for the Managing Party (currently Ripple) to appoint Directors to the Co-Op removed. The Directors should be who we - the owners of the Co-Op - choose to vote in (or our elected Directors co-opt to a limited degree), nobody else. Ripple should be treated by the Co-Op solely as a supplier of services at this point in the relationship.
What are other people's thoughts on the matter?
